Sour Cream Coffee Cake

If you can’t tell already, I love breakfast.

Ingredients:

3 eggs

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup butter

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

3 cups flour

1 1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup brown sugar

1 tbsp cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F.

  2. Mix the drys (powder, soda, salt, and flour).

  3. Beat the butter and white sugar until fluffy.

  4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the butter and sugar.

  5. Add some of the sour cream to the wets. Then add some of the drys to the wets. Then add some of the sour cream. Then add some of the drys. Repeat until all mixed.

  6. Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans to make the filling.

  7. Butter a bundt pan. Pour half of the batter in, then pour the filling in evenly. Top off with the rest of the batter.

  8. Bake for about 40 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
