Applesauce Muffins

Another muffin recipe for your repertoire.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp allspice (If you don’t have this, just do a full tsp of cinnamon.)

1/4 tsp nutmeg (If you don’t have this, just skip.)

1/4 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup brown sugar

3/4 cup butter melted (AKA one and a half sticks.)

1 cup unsweetened applesauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Mix the drys (flour, powder, soda, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, salt).

  3. Mix the wets (eggs, vanilla, sugar, butter, applesauce).

  4. Add the drys to the wets.

  5. Pour into muffin tin and bake for about 20 minutes on the top shelf. All muffins should be baked on the top shelf.
