Pizza

I’m only going to give you the recipe for the dough under the assumption that you know how to top a pizza.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup warm water

1 packet yeast

3 3/4 cup flour

2 Tbsp olive oil

1 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Add yeast to water and let sit for 5 minutes.

  2. Add oil and salt. Mix.

  3. Add flour. Knead.

  4. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours.

  5. Knock the air out of the dough and cut dough in half (it makes two pizzas the size of a cookie sheet). If you want, you can wrap the dough balls in saran wrap and refrigerate for up to to 24 hours in advance.

  6. Let the dough balls rise under a bowl for another hour. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400F.

  7. Roll out on a floured surface.

  8. Top the pizza.

  9. Bake for 20 minutes until the crust is firm and golden.
