Chrissy Teigen's Cravings: Hungry for More
Just got this for Christmas and have spent the last few months working my way through this cookbook. Sorry that I haven’t been posting much about it, since I try not to post recipes that are copied directly from somewhere else (I care about intellectual property and I don’t want Chrissy to hate me).
The second cookbook is quite good and I feel like Chrissy is pushing the envelope a little more that she’s gained the trust of her fanbase. I’m skeptical about some recipes (looking at ham cups), but others I have really enjoyed. Her clam chowder, for example, is dank.
My one criticism of this cookbook, which may also extend to the first cookbook, is that her servings suggestions are often off. I don’t know if she intends for all recipes to be made in conjunction with some other dish, or if she eats tiny baby portions of food (as a model), but it nevers serves as many people as she has listed. It is also possible that her recipes are so good that me and my boyfriend can eat 4 servings worth without batting an eye. Either or, just make sure that you make some side dishes or double the recipe. There’s nothing worse than running out of food (insert social commentary here about food as a human right) and it’s even worse if you have guests over.
Overall, I would obviously recommend having the Chrissy Teigen cookbook matching set. Armed with them and this blog, you won’t have to look anywhere else for a delicious meal.
