Spice Cupboard Must-Haves

When you’re just starting out, stocking your spice cabinet can be especially hard. Spices are expensive! But so important. Why else would Europeans kill and colonize so much of the world? (Still doesn’t justify.)

Salt

Pepper

Season salt

Cinnamon

Garlic powder

Cayenne

Ground ginger

Oregano

Rosemary

Thyme

If you have these, you can begin to approximate most recipes -at least the ones I have here.
