Peach Cobbler

Stolen from my coworker, Sandy. I have no shame.

Ingredients:

1 frozen pie crust (I promise I will put up a recipe for homemade crust sometime soon.)

1 c sugar

3/4 c flour

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/2 c butter, softened

3 ripe peaches

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450F.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients together then mash the butter in with a fork to make the crumble.

  3. Wash and cut the peaches into 1 inch wedges.

  4. Arrange in the pie crust and top with the crumble.

  5. Bake for 10 minutes then drop the oven temperature to 350F for 30 minutes. Peaches should be soft and the crumble a little brown.
